What independent actually means here
Riverbend Refrigeration works for the homeowner, not for a manufacturer. That distinction changes what we can tell you, and it is worth being precise about.
We are an independent appliance repair company. We are not affiliated with, authorized by, or endorsed by Sub-Zero or its parent company, Sub-Zero Group, Inc. We are not a factory service center and we do not hold a manufacturer service appointment. Anyone who tells you otherwise about us is wrong, and a manufacturer's own service locator will confirm it in about ten seconds.
What we are is specialists in one product line. We diagnose and repair Sub-Zero built-in refrigeration and nothing else, because the failure modes on this equipment are specific and a technician who splits their week across eight brands never gets deep on any of them.
How a visit works
The diagnostic is $129, flat. Flat diagnostic fee, credited in full toward the repair if you approve the work. We measure before we quote — fill volume, actual voltage under load, temperature at the point that matters — and you get a written number before anything is ordered. Written estimate before any part is ordered or any labor is billed.
Completed work carries 90 days on labor and 365 days on parts. Genuine OEM parts sourced through the manufacturer supply chain. The fee is set out in full on the pricing sheet, the cover on the warranty sheet, and the rest on the questions sheet.
Where we work
Jacksonville, Florida, within roughly 35 miles. This is a mobile operation: there is no shop counter to visit, and we do not publish a street address for one that does not exist.
