Before you dial — what this number is for
- On the ticket
- Built-in and integrated Sub-Zero refrigeration, indoors, in a kitchen or a pantry: refrigerators, freezer and refrigerator columns, undercounter cabinets, wine storage and ice machines. The sealed system, the controls, the fans and defrost, the door and its gasket, and the opening the cabinet is trimmed into.
- Not on the ticket
- Heating and air conditioning. We do not install, service or diagnose furnaces, heat pumps, air handlers, condensing units for the house, thermostats for the house, or ductwork. We are not an HVAC contractor and not a ventilation contractor, and we do not hold ourselves out as either.
- Not on the ticket either
- Any other manufacturer, and any cooking, laundry or dishwashing appliance of any make. One product line from one maker is the entire reason we are useful on it.
- The name
- Sub-Zero on this site means the appliance manufacturer — the name stamped on the built-in refrigerator in the kitchen. It is a refrigeration brand, not a heating or cooling contractor with a similar name.
Have this ready
- The model and serial number from the plate inside the cabinet, if you can reach it.
- What the appliance is doing now, in plain words, and when it started.
- Whether anything changed first — a storm, a power cut, a plumbing repair, a remodel.
- A temperature reading from inside the compartment, if you have a thermometer.
Service area
